It was truly an honor to receive a shout-out by Charlie Munger during the Daily Journal Annual Meeting in Los Angeles on February 14, 2018. Charlie was discussing the fair investment management fee structure of the Buffett Partnerships of the 1950s, which I have enthusiastically cloned for 19 years.

Well done, Mohnish. I rmb reading Guy’s book and learning about Buffett’s rare fee structure and how you replicated it and stuck by it. Tremendous structural advantages and till today you are still reaping its positive externalities! Amazing.

I had a strange dream recently. What if all the sovereign funds in America were managed by you, Li Lu, Munger, Buffett, Ted and Todd? It sounds ludicrous. But imagine the amount of wealth it could impart equitably to raising the wealth of lowest income brackets. Just a wild thought! Hv a great week, cheers!

Hi Mr. Pabrai,
I admire u for all your hard work and achievements. One small question
I always wonder, why did they (buffet & Munger) allowed you to clone ? Is it because to liberalize the value investing approach or concepts ?
My outlook may be very small in this subject but it is a very prudent question when u encounter lot of law suits on IP and copyrights in the news
